Not too sure what caused the pulley failure I suppose it could have been a gradual thing. However I did check the valve gaps recently and wonder if rotating the pulley anti clockwise to check the valves may have accidentally loosened the nut. When I took it off to check why the belt was loose, it felt tight though. Not really tight but deffo not loose.
Any way gave the OG pulley a lick of paint to freshen it up.

Took the old bus out for a short run. I thoroughly rinsed the underside afterwards to wash any salt off. It’s been really mild weather just recently. [emoji41]
