My cousin's husband in amercia has a 1970 Dodge challenger R/T convertable 426 Hemi and a 1969 Dodge Dart with a supercharged 540 Hemi that he does drag racing in. It's about 1200hp  and it's road legal :D

He took me for a spin in it when i was 16 and ever since then my lifes mission has been to own a piece of classic Mopar muscle 8) The insane roar from that HUGE Hemi engine left a lastin impression :D

Wow that challenger with the 426 Hemi would be worth a small fortune, a knackered hemi engine alone makes 5 figures in the US.
It was a ride in a 1970 Plymouth Superbird through north London that got me into Yanks.

Maybe thats why I get such an urge to put a V8 in an early Double cab

If you do, make sure it's either a Mopar 440 wedge or a Hemi ;)
