I rent a garage to keep my van stored in, need to get it out as i promised a friend that i would drive him to his weding tomoro.
But the people i rent garage from have parked their car (reno magane) across the drive so i cant get van out. Is their a practical way of moving it? Only needs to go back aprox two meters.

ie - go under knock it out of gear trolley jack up all of back end ease it back a bit?

any help appreciated, did not want to let mate down on big day.

thanks

If its not in gear it would be easy to jack up an move as long as the surface the car is parked on is pretty smooth it would move easier if its in gear that's another story

cheers guys , i should say there is an incline on the driveway leading up to the garage with the car parked horizontal to the garage door. Heeps of space behind it tho.

just need a good/larage trolley jack really?

thanks

if its not smooth get a sheet of plywood or sumilar under the jack will make it alot easier to move and if its in gear you "may" still be able to more it if you can locate another two trolly jacks for under the front.

plus if an alarm goes off just keep moving it it should shut up once you've left it alone for a bit in its new spot

Or Hauck the back up and swing it around out the way, will work ok if you jack the front up and put ply under the front wheels first. Although why not try calling them or knocking on their door first?
