Pre-Elemental check...as the sun was shining we drove to Norman Park for a quick photo opportunity...

Thought I would start the roof today...

First up, spray the supports silver...

Then tackled the dodgy roof, just a spray with some fresh white paint...for now!!!

Now just the awful canvas!!!

Had some vinyl laying around so I thought I'd get the machine out and try a little recovering and piping...

Not bad for a first attempt!!!

Finally got round to changing the points etc to electronic ignition (albeit due to a breakdown, the van not me!!!) and initial reports are good and shes running again... Now the only part of the engine that is not new is the starter motor and fuel pump so fingers crossed!!!

Got my bus back from garage...and finally fitted the beauty rings....

as it was such a nice day I treated her to a good wash and scrub...
