The roof liner was in pretty bad shape with lots of tears in it so that had to come out, I've not bought a new one yet but I'm not looking forward to that job!
Dirty job taking that down, that hair stuff gets everywher. Put some flash band on the roof too

Also had a lot of trouble with the carbs, webber 34 ict, the jets were wrong so had to change the jets and gave them a overhaul, the difference is immense, loads better! Also put an electronic ignition in, one of the stealth ones, leads and plugs too.

That's where I'm at!

I really like this bus, used to see it around occasionally. Good to see you are cracking on making improvements and doing your thing to it. Enjoy :D

Great to see your work Andy!

Bus looks great.

Glad you sorted them carbs out!

You down for Brighton Breeze?

Cheers chaps!

I wish I was Jim I have a couple of days off at the end of the week so I'm gonna hit it hard and take windows out, and and try and get this new roof liner in!

Had some new tyres on today, and got rid of the knackered 165s on the front. Now got 175 on front and 185 65 rear, desperate for some more lowering!

Got some done on the roof today, opted for excersize mats from decathlon, 6.5mm thick, I thought thought these would be a good all rounder for noise and heat purposes.

Good work andy the interior certainly needed love

The carbs were bought off vzi and just bolted on so wouldn't surprise me if not correct jets

There was masses of rat/mouse poo behind petrol tank too

Surprised the front tyres have gone they were only Nankangs but I fitted them new

Keep up the good work

Ahh, from what I have read them carbs come with the wrong jets in so until there fitted and running ****, people don't know!

Tyres were Down to the cords on the outside edge, think that's down to too much toe in, or out!

Make some good progress today! Took the necessary windows out, and make a good start on roof liner

nice work on the headliner, i found it wasn't as hard as its made out to be and makes you feel so good knowing you've done it yourself

Been doing some more on the head liner but the weather is so bad at the min. Had to attach a strip of plastic to the back to tuck it up nice.

I've spend hours contemplating and head scratching about the lining! Don't wanna balls it up

Also, measured my beam, anyone know what this translates to in inches narrowed ?
