Cheers guys.

I've got to get the bus sorted as Nic's bus will be on eBay this week and the Ghia is currently tucked up in the garage awaiting some TLC. If I don't get it done we won't have a roadworthy aircooled.

Also the sooner I get it sorted the sooner I can start work on the sofa. :D

Good work there Jabbo gotta have some tooons in the van looks like yours will be THUMPIN 8)

nice work dude, what sort of hardboard did you use on the floor? 8)

Just some 3 mm stuff I got from BnQ. IT's about £3 for an 8x4 sheet.

I was just wondering as you do have to be careful with that stuff as it can sag and hold water (condensation) be careful not to spill ya cider on it :wink:

Yeah I did think about using ply instead as I knew hardboard drinks water like a camel. :lol:

However the main purpose of the van is gonna be shifting stuff around I'll only be camping in it very rarely (we've got the caravan for that), so hopefully it should be up to the job.

ah ha! thats cool fella, just concerned for you as I didnt want to see your good hard work go all bokey :wink:

I really want an earlybay single cab to do all of my shifting of stuff, plus it would make a perf daily. :D

now you just need half a 356 to complete the set! :wink:

It's in my watch list. Just got to figure out how to use it. :lol:

Managed to squeeze in another hour on the bus today. I really could do with a couple of solid days work on it to finish it off instead of grabbing spare minutes here and there! :lol:

Anyway's today I continued wiring in the stereo and cleaned out the area under the cab seats a bit;

Seat hides the changer nicely;

I also fitted the headunit. Ended up going under the dash as I figured it would;

I also done a bit more work on my rear end ( :shock: ) and fitted some jailbars to the van;

Unfortunately I had to remove my PVP sticker as it was way off centre. Luckily I've got a couple of spares laying around though, so I'll be 'representing' again soon. :lol:

Yo dude looking cool , gotta get myself some jailbars they look good . I had a PVP sticker but tried to put it in and it would not stick :twisted: .
Must get a new one :?

Bumping this to the top as it's currently for sale. :(

Today I sorted the front brake imbalance issues out, so hopefully I'll pull my finger out and go get it MOTed this week.

The exhaust is an RX. They were the exhaust of choice back in the late 80s early 90s, before the more common muffler/header combo came into vogue. They're obviously an all in one system, and are made from nickel.

They haven't made them for 10 years or so, and as such they very rarely come up for sale (normally 3-4 a year), and when they do come up they're snapped up within minutes (normally by the B289 crowd). In fact I've just sold that one in the picture yesterday, as I'm either selling my van or will be towing with it so the exhaust is no good to me. It sold within 20 minutes of me advertising it.
