Early Bay 1st though.

What was your mate thinking?

To be honest I robbed the Pic off line but the car is in bloody good nick with the orig cream leather interior and unmutilated dash...

Still not an early bay though

Do like the old landcrab - so cheap, but so roomy (not as roomy as the dub mind - but close  )

Should still have enough change surely to get the van

I love british classics but they are bloody horrible, saying that put some curtains in it and your mate should be able to kip in the back.

My dad had a landcrab in the early 70s, we drove to Portugal and back a couple of times and 4 of us kipped in it for the 3 day journey .
Wish we had a bay then

Some useless trivia for you, did you know they used the same doors on the landcrab, the Austin 3ltr, Austin Kimberley, Austin Maxi and the Panther Deville. They were also used for an aborted Rolls Royce / Bentley model. And there were also pick up versions and one with a V8 engine available in Oz.

dont know how true it is but i was told along time ago they were hoping that when produced landcrabs would attract the taxi driver crowd due to the interior space . dont remember seeing many landcrab taxis in south wales ,so guess they all frowned on them . :)

Landcrab?

The pun is lost on me, I don't get it

It doesn't float my boat.......looks a bit like a Maxi.........maybe that would be retro chic..........my folks used to own an orange one........never post when you get back from the pub..............

Not really a pun mate, just one of those meaningless names people give to vehicles that seem to stick, did the Sierra really resemble a jelly mould? or the reliant robin a plastic pig? Does anyone under forty care :(

And as far as posting when you get home from the pub, well they are the best posts on here :D
