I love it. Can't wait to get her tidied up inside and to go camping!

What do people think of her?

Thanks guys. More pics added to that thread since then...

Also some of what someone has done to the lovely original red devon panels inside can be found here... http://www.justkampers.co.uk/interactive/kamperchat/showthread.php?s=&postid=986030#post986030

Yep!

Mango Green under Seagull grey. Don't think that it is year appropriate but it is definately VW Colours. May have been splitty or beetle colours.

Great colour, I think you did exactly the right thing keeping the purchase under your lid. There are some individuals down here that would think nothing of "guzzumping" then claim bragging rights as well. Best to keep those people in the dark and feed em horse poo.
On a more pleasant note, is the nose badge a stainless one or chromed steel? I am looking for a stainless jobby since mine got swiped.
If yours is stainless, where did you get it?
David

Mine is a cheaper version. It was £20 from JK. Apparently the better ones are from karmann konnection but they are double the price. But if you go for one of those, it is more likely to get swiped. Swings and roundabouts!

Put it this way, I think it was a bargain!

The guy said he felt he had underpriced it but he had to call the price before it was finished.

Oh and Slammed Resto, I love those vertical bits on your bumbers. Are they called over-riders?

A few more pics available now. Should be in my signature... Fingers crossed!

cracker bus, i have a moonraker with the swing cooker, is the bench seat is OG but painted?

It had been painted previously (very badly) so I covered it with fablon!! It matches the units I made wuite nicely. A bit of a bodge but it is fine for now!!

i have two full devon interiors but i cant split them atm as im not sure which parts im keeping and selling, swingout cooker is nicer than the larger thin stand drop down cooker asnd you can put a fat propane cylinder in it.
