Just been out for a few hours driving around in my Bay.
Just checking all is well in the engine bay and noticed a leak from the bottom spindle on the carb.
Anyone you can recomend that supply the spindle bushes?
Need to get it fixed ASAP realy.
Got Action comming up and a trip to the coast fishing a few weeks later.

Cheers

Rich

If your getting fuel leaking from the spindle check for play by wiggling the throttle shaft.

If there is not much play its likely the problem is due to excessive fuel level in the float chamber.

This can be caused by incorrect adjustment of the float, a missing washer under the needle valve or a worn needle valve that isn't shutting off completely.

No play in the shaft.
Ran it for 10 mins and not looking like any fuel through the overflow(Nor out of the spindle, will test drive again soon).
Did manage to muller the screws in the bottom flap though
Only need it for Action now and i only live a few miles away.
So i'll probably send it away for a refurb after the show season.
Although i did have a weekend fishing trip in Brighton booked for the middle of september :?
