Tell me about it, put a new stereo in mine last week and found a spiders nest of wires behind my dash ripped it out and redid it, it really does suprize me sometimes how many splices, choc blocks and connections, people seem to get in to supposedly straight wiring :?

Boots were held together with what looked like silicone!!! :shock:

Put in new Loom and engine back in.

Then took delivery of my Dads Original front badge and domed caps..... 8)

All triple cromed plated!! 8)

I have a tank full of motion lotion and enough BBQ food and Cider to last the weekend......B@llock's to the sh!tty weather im getting muck eyed .......in the garden!!! :shock:
I'll save the motion lotion for a cruize tommorow..... as im half cut already!!!

Was hopefully coming down to stop over on Sunday, cruise down, meet afew of the earlybay guys but the weather has put paid to that, i live about 30 min away in notts and its not stopped pissing it down thunder lightening the lot, real shame this year is turning into a complete and utter washout, but I'll join you in getting muck eyed the exports are flowing the footies on, shame England's just let in the equaliser, but you can't have it all :lol:

Cant believe we've had 'Myvanway' for nearly a year now.
It has flown, We love her to bits and hope for her mot pass!!!????

The day we got drove her home from Pill in Bristol to our home in Northamptonshire!!!
Quite a trek concidering 40 miles into the journey the red light of Badness came on!!!! :shock:

He started as a cable jointer for East Midlands Electricity in 1963,
and retired last year as a Project Manager for Central Networks.
48 years servive with the same company!!!! Not bad aye.

Now enjoying his retirement playing with his 59 Samba, Bikes, and extension on the house which also is celibrating its 10 year anniversary.....and still not finished!!!! :lol:

When a job for life was a job for life. I'm a cable jointer, the old boy at our place started as an apprentice at EME, 40years ago. Glad he's enjoying his retirement. Good chose of toys too

I went for a job as a jointers mate a few years back but didnt get it.
