Anyone got any advice on which one to go for?

I like 4" beams but what are they like to live with?

Also does anyone have pics of 4" and 2" beams in position?

I've got an original creative weedeater which I've never fitted. Thinking of selling it to release funds for the work required on our bus.

i think you might be asking in the wrong plaice mate... this forum is more about the lighter side of bus ownership ;)

if you've got your bus booked in at T2D, and you're having their new spindles, and i can reasonably assume you're buying a beam off them, then the plain truth of the matter is that nobody over here at least is gonna give you better advice about lowered buses than medhurst 8)

i mean, any advice you get from here or the likes of VZi is only ever gonna be based on an individual's experience, usually from one installation, and say you get somebody fitting one and they say the ride was ****, but unbeknown to them the tracking was set wrong or there was a trailing arm binding in a bearing or any one of literally dozens of things that might not have been 'set up' properly, then where's the 'control' element ?

take a look at T2D's blogs and you'll see that they're laying stuff out every day of the week, lowered, narrowed, slammed, it's all going on up in da house burwell what's up... peace...

sorry, erm, i'm just saying that they do the stuff on a day to day to day basis, and if you said to paul, "i want my bus to look like... THAT (insert photo) but i want it to ride like THIS" (do wavy thing with your hands or whatever) then he'll be able to fit you up and you'll know it's gonna be dope, rather than relying on subjectivity.

*lord low* up in da house one more time... peeeeeeace

there may be a few in here but im not sure,

I dont know what they ride like as ive never driven one but i was talking to alex1916v from Vzi at a club meet the other week and his beam is as narrow as they come and as low as i would dare go, he says his van rides like a caddy but has had some SERIOUS modification!!! As with all mods of this nature there will be draw backs but hay, you gotta suffer for fashion! :turninggay:

It's other peoples experiences that i'm after.

ive got a wagenswest adjustable, 4" narrowed beam, wound about halfway down with wagenswest drop spindles. 175/55/15 fronts, 185/65/15 rears with adjustable springplates

currently got gaz rear shocks ( not enough downwards travel in em ) and gaz short front shocks

drives pretty well, better than my old buses, only complaint is my rear suspension, but thats down to my shock choice, im going to get a full set of spax adjustables soo, so that should make the ride smoother
