Can anyone advise?
I have just lowered my camper and the exhaust is hanging a bit low, looks like a single quiet pack on their at the moment.
Possibly looking for another one with a bit more ground clearance, any ideas?

i had the same problem with a single quite pack, i was always wrecking it on speed hump and curbs. Unfortunatly i cannot tell you what to go for, but i can tell you what not to go for. Dont EVER get a monza 4 tip because it offers better clearance they rob you of alot of power and look aweful!

have to ask what's your budget?

from vintage speed tw, like on Brian Watt's bus $500 iirc

to lojak adapting a bug exhaust - and does also depend on if you're running heaters and what size engine you have.

Stock engine - stock van exhaust gives pretty good clearance.......

I'm running a 1600 with twin 34 dellortos (when I get around to putting them on that is) I really need a tuned exhaust. I've got the heat exchangers still in tact which I plan on keeping.
I'm not saying I've got an unlimited budget but I don't mind paying a bit more for something that does the job.
As for the monza 4 tip, I would have to agree, I would rather chew my own arm off than bolt one of those to the back of my bus.

CSP Python gives good clearance or you could go down the Turbo Thomas route. Both are stainless (will last ages and look spot on) but aren't cheap. (approx 500-750)

A beetle exhaust with twin van tailpipes fitted works well.

Trikky can this be done with the 2 part tailpipes? as these are cheaper than buying the single pipe unit?

From memory GSF sell the 2 bits for about £10 whilst the single pipe is £20 [that doesn't include any brackets]

Yes it can be done with the two part tailpipes. You do have to weld on an additional bracket to support the extra pipe, whichever tailpipes you use.

Two part pipes are less popular because the small elbow bit on the end is more restrictive to gas flow and also tends to rust out rather quickly.

Here is mine, engine has about 75hp (torque engine) and the beetle exhaust performs very well with a nice sound :D
I used 2 type3 pipes.
