So today i picked up a complete but partially stripped 1300 tp to go with my kadrons
Il add 1600 b&ps etc should be better than a 1500 sp?

Its currently in my bedroom :/

So i cleaned and painted my gearbox
The other week, looking pretty good i think

So i havent done alot to my bus recently because iv been trying to sort the front of my bug out the old beam was rotted at the bottom of the front towers so i made a new 6" beam and kept the shocks, still got to adjust and tighten etc etc but here u go

Not done a great deal but slow progress is better than none

Had half hour today so started removing the floor

Bit of progress, fitted gearbox, starter, shafts etc ordered a few things like clutch earth strap and battery connections,

Got stuck into removing the floor,

Got a few more cutting discs ready for sat, need to order floors now,

Just a quick one to the left of the gearbox in the picture theres a gromit with wires coming through some are wired up but theres a single one left, whats it for?

I think im going to have to drop the rear a little, looking at driveshaft angle even with engine in i dont think the shafts will be at much of a better angle :/

So done abit more today, clutch fitted and engine etc gotta get a new dizzy and some leads n a few more things

I'm not liking the exhaust tho

I also found this brand new in the wrapper that came with a few other bits that came with the van
Is it anything van related?

Also fitted a new hand brake pull and lever but the actual chassis part that the bit levers on through the floor was cut out :/ anyone got a pic so i can make a new one? Cheers

Had a few packages arrive yesterday couple of clips and leads etc and my new dizzy

not that exciting but to it is hopfully get it running this weekend

Iv been fiddling with the wiring but i havnt got a few of wires correct iv have no dash lights or indicators and when i turn headlights on the fuel guage jumps to full :/??
But it does turn over
Wont start as no fuel plugs or leads at the time

Gotta paint pulleys now

yea stumbled across what it was accidently on the samba its a rear arm bush

Fuel gauge jumps to full!
Just wired my tacho from Aspro and when replacing saw the one wire to the fuel gauge was loose
and earthing out on the side of the gauge. When I tested it with the ignition switched on it did as you describe.
Recentered this and glued it , problem solved.

You never know.
