new brake master cylinder

does anyone have any hints and tips for fitting a new brake master cylinder

Spray some plus gas or WD40 (plus gas is better) on the brake pipe unions the day before you start.Unless the pipes are rusted in which case renew them too.They're not too bad just don't cross thread the brake pipe unions going back in.Leave the pipe on the reservoir if you can and if it wasn't leaking before,or you will disturb the seal and it won't go back on.Or get a new seal before you start.Handle the reservoir gently they can crack when moved,especially in cold weather.

Make sure you have bought the right one before you start,there are different types.
