Spent much of the weekend stripping out my Dormobile interior ready for some welding and a respray. While I managed to get the cab headlining out in one piece (it finishes about level with the seat tubs) it's mouldy looking and knackered so really needs replacing. Does anyone know if you can buy short sections of headliner and if so, a good supplier?

The other thing I need to address is the tired hinge covers, visors and some paint marks on the roof bellows. The visors look like they've been in a swamp for the last 30 years and the hinge covers aren't much better. What can I use to clean them or is it possible to paint them?

The bellows are pretty new but the PO had painted the frame with a silver paint that I suspect is oil based, as its come off and transferred to the otherwise pristine white interior surface. Again, ideas for cleaning it off? I don't want to go in blazing with solvents and find I'm melting my way through the bellows...

Baby wipes are your friends, the really cheapo ones from pound land. Buy a load of them and start to gently wipe the headlining in circular motion and watch the decades of filth come off.
Now try the visors and hinges, plus the door cards and seats. You will be amazed.

Baby wipes are the best invention ever! We stock up on the Tesco value ones at 46p a pack, use them on everything, Inc the little kids, they shift all sorts of stuff, it makes you wonder what is in them!

They shifted the green on my poptop too.

Cheers
