Thanks all! Pics to follow shortly, but I’d class it as the ‘good from afar, far from good‘ type of thing. Just trying to get it to be usable for now and then tidy up as we go. Rediscovering a love for carbs…

Sounds the very best way to do it. I’d lose interest if I couldn’t drive it and use it as well. Getting to a few shows and chatting face to face with other bay peeps is usually the best way to work out what can work in your own van and what is just dragged along for the ride. Gradually you’ll narrow down to exactly what you want in there. The number of peeps in there is also a contributing factor to what’s possible. Get some pictures up and if there’s anything glaring, someone will mention it but it may help you to organise a schedule of works that need doing, and the priority they might need to get sorted. Number one seems to be oil and fuel. Get your self checking your fuel pipes and fuel breathers too as this is where most catastrophes occur. Check your oil often until you know exactly how much yours is likely to use when going for a little bimble for twenty minutes, or going for a bit of a slog on the motorway for a few hours. Worth checking it cold before you start it up and make sure it’s full on the dipstick and every time you stop, a little less when hot. Don’t be tempted to overfill it as a way of helping and try not to mix your oils if possible.
