Hi all. We are new to the VW scene and we have bought a cali import crossover 72 westi from a good friend who I have known for years and is actively involved with scene. We have wanted a VW camper for a long time and having been and still involved with Lambrettas, aircooled of course!!!, we wanted to have the same buzz but for all the family. Anyway, I am pleased to find out how cool crossover bays are having found out via this forum. I thought that only the real early bays were the way to go. I have plenty of questions to ask, so I hope this will be the place to get the answers. Thanks in advance, Sean. :D

Welcome from yet another crossover owner! :D

I started my love affair with bays when I was knee high to an ant, with a new crossover in the family. 36 years on, I now have my own crossy! :D

it would be interesting to have a pole but as there are a few people with more than one van it might not be true :D

Thanks to slammedresto I phoned Rich & we had a good chat He is going to sort out a price for an engine build. He seems to be a nice guy and knows his onions. Cheers for the contact. :D

It seems there could be mixed feelings about crossover bays, but there also seems to be alot of crossover fans. All in good taste of course. :D
