New to VW's

Hi all. We are new to the VW scene and we have bought a cali import crossover 72 westi from a good friend who I have known for years and is actively involved with scene. We have wanted a VW camper for a long time and having been and still involved with Lambrettas, aircooled of course!!!, we wanted to have the same buzz but for all the family. Anyway, I am pleased to find out how cool crossover bays are having found out via this forum. I thought that only the real early bays were the way to go. I have plenty of questions to ask, so I hope this will be the place to get the answers. Thanks in advance, Sean.

I started my love affair with bays when I was knee high to an ant, with a new crossover in the family. 36 years on, I now have my own crossy!

It seems there could be mixed feelings about crossover bays, but there also seems to be alot of crossover fans. All in good taste of course.
