Lovin the scoot mate, very nice indeed. I think your cross over is actually a Late Bay, it must have been one of the first new style buses if its definitly the year you say it is. Is that year of build or model year? Could it be built in 72, but be a 73 model hence a late bay.

It was built in November 71, still has original sticker on inside of door and the date is on the VW birth certificate. I recon it had some front end damage years ago and had the front panel replaced, but after converting the headlights etc Jon at Java recons it might be the original front end. I do know that a few crossovers had high lights, as I have done some digging around. I prefer the low lights & I will have them converted back if I find that the panel has been replaced. Cheers Sean. :D

Great looking van by the way, nice & low just as I like them. Is that a link pin front end? 8)

cool bus sean! and looks to have a full compliment of westy interior. nice :D

Thanks Steve, all the interior is there and original, including wooden headlining, fridge/coolbox, stool, table and everything still in mustard vinyl with the obligatory well used splits and markings. The curtains, I am afraid are well gone. :D
