North Devon (Dog friendly) Campsite recommendations...

Hi all,

Looking at this years camping holiday and need some recommendations on campsites around this area please.

Must be Dog, child friendly...
Walking distance from the beach and town would be cool too! 8)

Any experiences and views appreciated.

Yep good idea stu, nice area. We done the one over the road and up a bit and was good for the kids.... Watermouth Valley Camping Park. Was particularly good for kids as they had a slope that they got wheeled sledges out for kids and did tractor and trailer rides for the kids every night.

Try Upper Lynstone in Bude if you fancy going a little further down the coast.

Not by the sea but 10 mins drive from Coombe Martin beach is Stowford Farm Meddows which is a great campsite for kids, not sure how old yours are but there is a indoor swimming pool a petting Zoo and soft play as well as entertainment for kids and adults. My little girl loves it there and there is loads to do in the area such as sea kayaking at Coombe Martin, the Tunnels at Ilfracombe Morte Point Woolacombe and loads more..... it’s bigger than some of the others but the facilities and location make it a great place to have a holiday.

Cleanest toilets for miiiles.

Walking into Bude is do able, and a very short drive to nice beaches at Widemouth.
