I'm not sure mate as I never ended up fitting it.there are spring loaded plungers on the ends of each pole that go into holes in the B pillar & A pillar.you can drill your own if non there.have you got a phot of where your holes are? :shock:

OK mate,I can't see a problem,but,I'll lay it out and measure the maximum distance between the two poles.also measure the hole diameter.
