FOR SALE - 1968 VW Baywindow - £13,500 ONO
Dry, original paint van imported from Cali in 2009.
Original started life as a deluxe microbus.
2 previous owners.
Tax exempt.
MOT exempt.
Will come on the staggered Porsche teledials fitted with adaptors.
Set of stock Steels and caps included.
Lots of paperwork showing work done to van.
Chassis
LHD van.
Solid chassis - still wearing original paint. No underseal or stone chip, so no hidden surprises.
All original paint top half - VW Brilliant blue & cloud white. Again no hidden surprises.
Engine and gearbox
Recon 1641 engine fitted.
Strong original gearbox - no whines or crunches.
This engine and gearbox has taken us on many European trips without issue.
Suspension
Narrowed 4 inch transporterhaus front beam with adjusters.
Transporterhaus dropped spindles.
Spax fully adjustable coil-overs.
Rear lowered on the splines and adjustable spring plates.

Walk through model.
Original headliner in decent condition.
1/4 light windows
Full width rusty lee rock and roll bed.
12v leisure battery installed with 2x 12v sockets.
Head unit with aux in fitted in glove box. Speakers in doors, behind front seats and rock and roll bead kick boards.
Head unit powered off of leisure battery.
Full set of thermal black out blinds and silver screen included in sale.
