Word to self
DON'T USE HOSE PIPE as a temporary breather it gets hot then kinks and yep you guessed it
Engine now covered in oil :evil:

Mark, stock breather vented into carbs, no oil but a slightly dusty engine bay.

I've just remembered this thread I posted doh :shock:
I've got that same breather box sparky but its got nothing inside it what should be there?
Also how do I vent from my kadrons can I just drill into the top of the filter housing

I've stuffed it some stainless steel pan cleaners. Have a look on the Heritage site, they do some threaded stubs that fit to the top of the air filters.

A stock motor should not need any form of extra breathing. If it keeps leaking oil I'd search for the actual cause.

Well you could be right cos today my mate was installing a new throttle cable for me and I asked him to see if he could pinpoint the oil leak he seems to think its coming from the oil cooler so looks like the engine will be coming back out :oops:

I also got him to check out my nearside wheel as I thought my negative camber had got worse :? And guess what both bottom bolts on the hub have sheared off?

Not a happy Easter bunny
