My front indicator lenses are a bit pale now so I have been trying to find some paint to touch them up. Looked all over online and even tried Halfords but no luck

any ideas?

Cheers

Lyndsey

try this stuff matey, I used it on tail lamps ( the red version of course!) its clear coloured model paint to paint lights on radio control cars etc

Hi!

How about prising the orangy bit off and painting the bulb with orange glass paint, that's what i did. Look here for paint, only a few quid, last ages.

Goes on quite thick, i didn't have a brush, so dipped in a cotton bud, couple o three coats, bingo!

Cheers!

Good tip Alistair

Sorted out my rear lens this weekend with the marabu glass paint. Used vermillion on the red section, orange yellow on the indicator part and they have come up a treat and @£1.80 per bottle much better than £40+ for new hella lens

Hi!

Cool! Glad it worked well on the lens, only tried it on the bulb, wonder if it could be thinned down a little, might go a bit further that way?

Cheers!

tint some clear laquer with a little orange paint, works a treat and was how we use to tint rear lenses black back in the 90's.
