I have this original (I think) floor covering throughout my bus, I laid the ply on top of it when I refurbed last year.
It's in the boot area as well under a carpet.
Does anyone know what it is? - it seems to be a bitch to get off - kinda tar/rubber/woven fabric - which is mainly why I left it.
The only reason to get it up I suppose would be to repair any rust -which there is none yet, and fit a rear sender access hatch.
Can't find any reference to it anywhere else.
