Is the value of an original Adventure bus high top more than a converted Westy high top ?

Just to clarify. The adventure wagon was also a conversion so it's probably going to be hard to work out how much each bus was new.

As posted on your other thread about high tops, adventure wagons were conversions done in the us aftermarket.

Westy's were the only approved conversion that could be ordered through your local dealer, the buses left the factory and were delivered to westfalia to have the roof, interior etc fitted and these features appear on the m code plate, no other conversion can say that.

So a westy will always be worth more money as it had vw's backing and didn't cut through roof ribs

I thought Devon had some arrangement with VW in the early 70's?
