Hi,
I'm looking to sell my overrider as can be seen below (I'm going to be fitting deluxe Bumper trim)

I'm worried that my bumpers will look untidy underneath so had the idea to swap my bumpers with anyone who has the same ones but wants overriders. I'd then sell the overriders at a special discount price, I've been informed that they usually go for £150 so we could discuss price.

What do you think, good idea?

Cheers
Simon

simon take the bumpers off and get em sprayed cause you`ll definately be able to see where the riders have been, you could at the same time give the overriders a blow over , they`ll be as good as new and you`ll get a good price for them......bus is looking cool fella 8)

ste

I'd be more worried by the front panel and obvious signs of overrider encroachment than any issues with the bumper

Thank you for your concern! It will be sorted as soon as the overriders have been removed hence my thread in the general section 'paint job'

See your neighbours have equally good taste :D
Do you have the bumper trim already? I think it looks pretty cool with the overiders.

I think it is a great idea to find someone who wants a set of overriders and just swap the bumpers over. This would save you filling holes and respraying and whoever buys them from the hassle of measuring and drilling.

You just have to find someone with bumpers as straight as yours.

Jon

(And yes the neighbor has got great taste  )

jon, it that your van rolling down the road on a slipping handbrake

windsurfer, someone on here was after a set of overiders, i try to find the thread

Cheers for the useful comments guys ;)
Uber, I can't seem to get that link to work and can't find the thread, any ideas?

i am building two sets of bumpers for my bus. one set with deluxe trim, and one set with overiders. then you get the option to change then change back when you fancy it.
not a cheap project but i like both options the same and cant chose one over the other

How about a compromise front left deluxe trim, front right overider, rear left overider, rear right deluxe trim - could probably pick the parts up cheaper as they are odd ones ;)

try the link now, think I got a bracket in the wrong place,,, bloody html programming!

..... i say...dont do it!!!
looks cool as flook as is....

i had deluxe trim on mine.... changed it for overiders...

but if you do change... you shouldnt need to weld up the holes as you can stick a 2nd bumper bolt through the square hole...

gets some more bumpers then as previously mentioned.... best of both worlds then.....

and they all lived happily ever after!!!

Give them to me then, its my wedding anniversary next week ;)[/quote]

What would my wife Faux say
