Paint colour on my blue bus

Hi Folks,

Im trying to find a match for the colour of my south african import bus. It doesn't match any of the paint codes and my m-plate is one of those SA ones. I guess my bus was a CKD, manufactured in Germany but assembled in SA?

Could it be a beetle colour?

Any ideas?

What is the best way to go about getting an aerosol or the correct colour?

I don't know the paint colour mate, but with regards to getting a decent aerosol don't waste your time going to crappy overpriced halfords, go to a proper paint shop, the one near me is in Crawley industrial estate, JCA coatings, they will make up the colour with the code you'll hopefully get.
They will even make up small quantities of old cellulose paint, I bought that and some in a aerosol.

Crawleys not that far from me, I may give them a shout.

I understand they may be able to match from a sample bit of paint. Just need to decide where on the van to scrape!
