Hello :) Can anyone give me some clever ideas for painting inside the fins? The spray gun can't get in there so I wondered what other peeps have done to get it to look good?

Cheers

I thought about that for when i paint mine ..

.. i thought maybe just rust proof it in a darker colour ( depends what colour the bottom of your bus will be I suppose ..

just thought it might make it look ok ..

Or just red like gills!! Grrr!

;)

use an empty deodorant pump (non-aerosol), do a few tests and just thin the paint to suit.

then carefully spray between each opening, wipe up any dribbles with a rag as you go.

I taped it all up and used a rattle can, I found you can easily get in all the corners like this.
You should also close the gap at the bottom or you risk overspray all over the engine bay.
The trickier part is to degrease the inside prior to painting.

i used one of them small model spray guns they are small and had to fill up paint alot but worked a treat nice finish too

Mines all sprayed with Dinitrol so you cant see the immaculate original paint underneath
