Thinking this year we will try the van out in South Wales, it will be our first officail Van holiday (we went to cornwall last year but didn't stay in the van), so we're in Pembrokeshire can you recommend close to the beach?
The daughter will spend all day on the beach so this really is the main priority, although nothing to remote as we still need to eat/drink/be merry.
NOT I REPEAT NOT INTERESTED IN TENBY

Went to New Quay last summer stayed at Cai Bach Country Club, has got it's own pub, play area for kids, great shower block and virtually its own beach 5 minutes walk. It also allows dogs if need be.
About a 2 mile walk to New Quay itself there is a bus you can catch at the top of the road going down to the campsite but its a bit of a walk, but there is a cheap allday car park and a great boozer called the Queens Head for home cooked food, Curries and local Cider & beer, its at the top of the hill near the entrance to the all day car park

Funnily enough i was looking through http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk and came across this camp site, read through the waffle and have emailed them to find out about availability, unfortunately i think the week we want is Whitsun as the price is a lot higher than the weeks either side of the one that we want, but at £26 per night (including 240v hook up) its worth a shot!

Just confirmed a booking at Cai Bach Country Club for the 23rd May for 7 days.
Just need to buy an awning, roof rack, curtains, curtain tracks, cooking equipment, camping equipment, wire up the leisure battery, wire up the hook up..............
DONT PANIC MISTER MANNERING!
