Pesky sunroofs??

Went to my first BusFest as a bus owner, spent all my money and learnt a bit, mostly about my sunroof (which doesn't work) so i was wondering if anyone had any run ins with them and had any advise on them, or even alternatives to the seemingly poor mechanism that they originally used, Cheers.

Hi there, I don`t have a sunroof in my bus but did have one a long long time ago in a bug once which is similar apparantly. I`d love a sunroof bus as it just really appeals to me. Of the people that have them on here, I think most of them will tell you that they didn`t work properly when they first got them and they had to be refurbished after years of neglect and or abuse , but once sorted out they are superb. Most of the guys are still out for the weekend it would seem as it`s just a bit quiet on here. Sub Heat Adey has a sunroof I think, and I got a feeling that he`s just been doing a bit to his and I`m sure he`ll be along sooner rather than later.

Hi, I have a sunroof usual story but mine didn't work so set at it, bought some new repro cables (at great expense) works fine now - no problems. I'd love some OG cables. Whats the problem with yours?

There's a few of us here who have gone through the pain of getting them to work properly.

Search on here for various threads, but the first thing to check is that you have all of the guides & cables in place.

Then post pictures of what you have & the symptoms of failure you are seeing.

PS, If you can retain the original cables, then do so, the copy part ones are made of cheese......
