Petrol sender unit

Hi fellas,

Took me bus out last nite for its first drive after it's resto all seems pretty fine apart from the petrol gauge was not working! I've replaced the the sender unit with a new one so it can't be that just wonderd if anyone had any ideas as what it could be?

My new replacement sender unit was faulty so I wouldn't necessarily discount that.

Check the connections behind the dash - otherwise its engine out, firewall out, fuel tank out to get at the sender!
Unless you cut an access hatch! :msn4:

earth the wire that comes through the bulkhead to the sender, gauge should read full. will tell u if the problems with wiring or sender unit
