Hi,

I've been working on my front beam, giving it a complete overhaul.
But I seem to bee a little stuck, having bought a new pivot pin and bushing set, I just can't seem to compress it enough to get the bolt in the pitman-arm.
So what I mean is that the pin doesn't penetrate the arm enough so the "bolt-cavity" isn't flush with the bolt.

Does this make sense? I'm belgian so my english isn't perfect.

Thanx for your help.

Use a jack to push the pivot pin upwards until the bolt is in line.

I used a scissor jack for mine - it is because you have the compressable washer which is ) shaped to put a bit of pressure on the pivot.
