Hi Guys, Can anyone measure the plastic glovebox for me please, width, height and depth, also need height at the end nearest the screen.

Muchly appreciated in advance.

Regards, Si

I can sort this as I've just built one,

I take it your looking to build one? Thing is it's not straight forward as height/depth/width as there a strange shape to fit the hole and clear all the vents etc.

I did mine in steel, top photo shows the shape you need.

Hi Mark, Thanks for the reply. I'm really after an old plastic one to copy as I understood they were an odd shape, so the measurements were to give me an idea of materiel requirements before I start. The top of my dash is out, as is all the ventilation stuff, wiper mech, radio and some wiring too! So I have a larger space than in reality, and was hoping to make something out of aluminium. I have recently (and quite successfully) made a set of four overriders (£20), and a set of four outriggers too (£11.50).

No probs Si,

The metal one was just to show you how the shape isn't straight forward and they were the only ones I had on my iPad,

Original liners were cardboard/hardboard composite, I think the repro ones are plastic.

Hi Mark, Thanks for posting the pics of the original glovebox, very useful as it's not as complicated as the plastic one. Any chance you could put up some (any) measurements please?

Regards, Si
