Would a Porsche 914 engine fit straight into an early bay. :?:
Looking for minimum adjustments to other existing parts etc... :shock:

Yes. Bell housing will mate to gearbox. But you might have to mess around with the flywheel and clutch. We at least that what I needed to do with my 911 engine

And you want to add on a Porka or DTM kit for cooling and a few other parts too

I may be showing my ignorance here.

But fitment wise, what is the difference between a 915 and a 911 engine. :roll:

914 is 4 cylinder engine 2.0l very simliar to 1600 air cooled with overhead rockers.

911 is 6 cylinder (so a 1/3rd longer) in 2.2, 2.4 and 3.0l and overhead cam, so a little wider, but still fits between chassis rails.
