x drill those babies !!!
I'll leave them as is. x-drilling just causes more rusting issues. I like the look of x-drilled on a performance sports car but not a bus. It is horses for courses though.
My brake servo arrived to! Pics to come (including the air shocks too).

Just the brake adaptor parts to sort now...

Thanks Alex, I'm amazed how they have polished up, as the wheels were in a pretty terrible state.
I'm chuffed with the polished black, and polish rim. It is a little different to the usual polished fuch, and a little nod to how the 16 inch fuchs were normally painted on the 911.
I'm going to call Mark on Friday, or might try and pop down to the workshop to discuss the brake work. I'm hoping he will be able to fit it in after big bang (or maybe before, but normally it gets quite hectic this time of year).

liking the fuchs, look lovely stock but shiney 8)

take it that 16s are needed for those big discs? and did you work out what you're going to do about brake bias yet?

Currently going for the fronts only at the mo, so no bias needed. Rears will be next year. Brakes are currently going on at the mo, so will post more soon.

The issue of brake balance, isn't just to prevent the rear brakes locking up before the front brakes!

Correct balance, ensures the minimum possible stopping distance under heavy braking and minimises the likelyhood of changes in oversteer & understeer characteristics under braking.

Looking forward to seeing how this plays out. Although at a quick glance it is looking rather pricey. Will be interesting to see how it works out with the master cylinder.

Would you be willing to let us in on who detailed your wheels for you?

Jasmine Motorsport are the Porsche co. but I think they use someone in Northampton

Ok, ok, I've been useless. I was waiting for some photos taken by a pro photographer for a magazine shoot, but there seems to be radio silence from him now.

Here are some quick pics I've taken:

Just back from big bang, hence the condensation on the inside!

The brakes are great. I'm probably going to sell the rear porsche callipers now (which can be used on the front of a bus) as I'm not going to do the rears. I'm more than happy with the performance of the fronts.
