Hello!

I'm new here. Just starting a 69 project after coming from the water cooled world. I've got a mk1 and mk2 golf.

I'm pretty fussy. I like things to fit. I know how hard it can be to fin decent aftermarket water pumper stuff. What's the aircooled world like?

I relise repair panels are all going to need work. I'm cool with that. But what about windo seals? What about things like rear light seals?

Are there any brands to stick with? Anything worth avoiding?

Or are you going to break it to me and give me another genuine parts hunt?

Sorry for the ramble!

Will

The good stuff, panels wise is klassic fab, by no means cheap and not readily available but supposedly the best repro you can get 8)

Autokraft too are supposed to be good

Rubbers and seals etc vary quite a lot between merchants :?

But if you come across o.g. / nos snap it up quick :D

   is the best I can offer, ...........well like I was told when I started out you may have to make it fit :D :D

We deal with air and watercooled parts and panels, I tend to find the watercoopled customers fussier than air cooled, its is sometimes a case of you have to take the only option that is available. It is in all suppliers interest to supply the best parts possible and we all try and get manufactureres to make improvemenets but sadly it is not always that easy. Certain panels and rubbers are ace and certain ones are a bit of a compromise.

If you have any issues or want to talk over availability and quality feel free to email me [email protected] or call 01444 251 270 and ask for Alex, I'll do my best to steer you in the right direction.

Cheers

Alex
