Turns out you can …. but of silicone spray and a tickle here and there and she’s out. I’ll drill out the rivets out then go from there.

Glass removed - bit of silicone spray around the rubber… a wiggle and a jingle and out she pops.

Carefully drill out the rivet .

Offer up the new clasp … ensure it’s the right side !!!!

Fastener riveted in and cleaned ready for rubber and glass.

Bit of silicone spray … a gentle wiggle and glass back in.

Job done
