Want to get a radio to fit in original hole in dash but cant measure hole in my van as it`s not here yet . Any one fancy measuring theirs for me  mine is a 69` if that makes any odds Cheers Grazy

All I know is that it's smaller than the standard size you get nowadays! Unfortunately my dash has been cut (and anyway, I've just had my dinner and can't move off the sofa to go to the garage!!!)...

;)

SOMEONE HELP PLEASE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:?

This may not be much help, but I fitted a modern radio straight into my dash, BUT... it is a USA spec padded dash, and i'm not sure if it was a different size to the euro ones!
Good luck buddy the panel looks the nuts

thanks for comments on the van Matty , i wanna put a old retro radio in so it looks OG , seen a couple on flea bay but dont know if they will fit so can`t bid as yet

Grazy,
Have just taken the knackered radio out of my van to get at the wiring and confirm what madjoiner says - 180mm x 45mm slot, and my van is an early '69 with painted dash. But I wish now that I hadnt thrown away the originaly installed Blaupunkt MW/LW radio years ago !

good luck with yer new van.

Hey Grazy, if in any doubt just mount it either in your glove box or behind the passenger seat and get a cover blank. Dont cut the dash dude! 8)
