Re-bushing a Solex PICT 34 Carb

Is it possible to fit new bushes to a Solex carb without specialist tools? I'm sure I've seen a DIY giude somewhare at some time but can't remember where!

Failing that, where's the best plae to get a carb overhauled? Idealy I'd like somewhere which actually tested the carb as well.

Spindle bushes? There was somebody selling them on ebay, don't think it was a difficult job.
