Hello all,

How do I fit 3 point seatbelts in the rear in a way that will be safe as possible in the event of the unthinkable?

No bodges, I want sound and proven solutions...

I have threaded spreader plates in the body behind the vents.

I have no reason to believe they are not perfectly acceptable.

Should there be an impact of enough force for this set up to be an issue I genuinely think that the upper seat belt mount failing would be the least of the occupants concerns!

I also have a mid mount welded in so I run 3 x 3 point belts in the rear of my 71

Yes, just install the 3-point static type belts using the factory mounts on the bottom edge of each rear window and in the rear bulkhead.

Over on late bay

I also just fitted, really happy with the fitting, it''s really well put together and went on perfectly.

I needed an additional bolt after I moved the seatbelt reel to the bottom of the bracket which I bought from here.

A2 STAINLESS STEEL HEXAGON : 7/16 UNF @ 1.1/4"

Then you'll need a 3/8" Hex to screw it in

I also fitted Davids extender. Great bit of kit. I left the mounting bolt just loose enough that I can swivel the belt mechanism round so the bed will fold down and then rotate in back into place when I put the seat back up.
