Hi
How is a rear bench seat fitted.Ive got two angled brackets on the rear of the seat that screw into the side of the van (these fixing holes are already there) But at the bottom ive got two pieces of flat bar hanging down with holes in them but they dont line up with any holes on the van.Infact I haven't any holes at the rear apart from the four seatbelt fixings and a flat bar welded in the middle This looks like something slots behind it but theres nothing on the seat :?
Ill end up putting self tapping screws in or drilling a hole and welding a nut on the back so they are bolted in place.
Im just curious as to why there is no holes and whats the metal bar for welded in the rear :?:
Cheers...Dave

The rear bench seat base is held down to the keyhole plates on the floor by the rear heater outlets using some wing nut brackets. Cool Air sell them, they're on page 76 of their catalogue, but I can't find them on their website.
The seat back is fixed using the angled brackets on the side and there should be a hooked bracket on the base of the seat back that clips into the bracket on the rear bulkhead.
Hope this helps. :)
