rear brake backing plate removal.

Morning

I am renewing my braking systym and so far I have removed the braking shoes etc whilst off I thought I'd take of the backing plate and give it a clean and a paint but it's stuck. I have taken the 2 nuts out at the bottom and it seems free at the top but something is catching at the bottom where the brake adjusters are. I had a look in the back behind and there is a small indent below the 2 holes were and I thought that there may be a dowl or something. I've given it a knock but still no joy.

Yep, dowel pins, 2 of them, they need to be driven out with a drift and a large hammer.
