been trying to sort out me brake lights all day traced wires all way to indicator stalkred and black dangling free cant see where it goes can someone tell me which wires i need to connect

Have you got power to the brake light switch on the master cylinder?

If not trace the wires right back and check all the fuse terminals are free from corrosion.

If you have power at the brake light switch, check the switch is working, then if it is the problem is in the light units, maybe a poor earth.

red and black is the wire from brake light switch, feed to switch is black teed of feed to horn ,so if horn works should be power to switch, depends on year where wire connects, and if euro or us.

do you hazards work properly ?
i had a stray black wire dangling that connects to the hazard switch
cant remember but i think only one side worked on hazards
mines a 71 so may be different
norm
