Rear chassis repair

Hi, as a "newbie" to a 1969 microbus restoration....anyone had any experience of obtaining & replacing the rear section of the chassis? seems that no-one is making these parts anymore so any advice is more than welcome. My rear chassis seems completely rusted and about to fall to bits and some idiot in the past had welded the bumper bracket to the chassis but it seems it should have been bolted on rather than welded. :roll:

Either get a second hand cut or make it yourself

Get a body cut from one of the usual suppliers, but get one much bigger than what you think you need.
By the way, that "idiot" and his "bodges" probably saved the bus from being scrapped about 20 years ago..
