If and when they do, would you mind letting me know please?

Thanks!

Hi,

Are there any suppliers of the late type trim?

Also, what model years would the late type trim be fitted to? 72 onwards?

Thanks,

Seperate bumper trim can be fitted to all bay's with the round bumpers up to the changeover to square type.

The site that Gadget Boy talks about has the trim advertised on it's site but not cheap.

I've mailed them asking for a price on the rubber on it's own.

I have been quoted £35 a pair inc P&P from a guy in the UK but out of stock and not heard from him recently either.

Tried the German company with no luck, however my contact has a new batch of rubbers coming over within the next couple of weeks.

It made to the exact profile so i'm told.

When i get mine i'll let everyone know what it's like and pass on his details for those who want to replace theirs etc..................

Dave,

Drop these a line and ask if they have a pair of rear split euro trims.

http://www.evamclassic.com/en/enhome.php

and get on the phone and ring as many companies that advertise in the back of the mags.

Thats all i did and dropped lucky.

I'll keep my eyes out for you also.

Mike

PS Dubfreeze is also a good bet

I hate january we got paid in mid december leaving 6 weeks till pay in between which i have a holiday, mot the car, girlfriends 21st and my brother 30th!

My rear rubbers turned up today as exact copy of the originals.

If anyone wants some either front or rear I'm more than happy to pass the details on.

Mike

still trying to find the rubbers and trim for the back with no joy no one is reproducing them at the moment from what i can tell!

Dave,

You should be able to find some at Dubfreeze this Sunday second hand.
You want the late split pointed type for European Vans.

Don't worry about the rubbers as your type are easy to get hold of.

cheers mate!

will that still be ok even thou my vans LHD from the States?

Yea.

These are the ones you want

Not these

http://www.ssvc.org.uk/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=38440&highlight=deluxe+trim

Don't worry about LHD or RHD as it doesn't matter and the reason I say the long Euro trim is because USA Bays weren't fitted with bumper trim.

VW used up the remaining Euro splitty rear trim on all Non USA deluxe vans before moving on to the type I have.

Basically we are adding a none spec item from where the van's came from.

Just make sure its the long rear pointed type.

Get someone to measure theirs and use this to make sure you get the right one.

As for the US spec splitty trim this was shorter as in the second pic.

Hope this makes sense and not straight forward.

Mike
