Rear luggage door width

Hello would anybody know what measurement of the rear luggage door width is, as the measurement in Mark Paxton's restoration book doesn't seem right.

Just put a tape on my 72 Panel and the door just below the bulge is 1265mm wide. Hope that is what you are after.
