Good evening people :) Can anyone tell me how the rear 1/4 lights are attached, is there a frame and if so where can you get a replacement? or does it come with the seal? I have the glass in a frame with the knob to close it, does it close onto the seal or something else?

The ones I had just fell out they were so rusty so can't work out how they go in? :?

thats it fella.....

the glass is in a open frame which sits in a U section frame which sits in the rubber seal and is kept in situe by brute force and ignorance when fitting it.....

Sounds like fun, can you buy new frames?

Worth ringing the importers as well, the aussie vans I used to deal with always had them.

Doing the seals in them is a complete **** though

I saw these on ebay earlier, they look like good ones if you need it for the left side.

I fitted one of mine the other day,not too bad. There is a slot in the top of the bus frame and a lug in the top of the window frame.Line it up to fit in the slot(this will be slightly away from the final fitting position),lip the bottom seal in first, then lip the top seal in so that the lug goes through the slot. Then make sure the lug on the window frame goes behind the bus frame and slide the window across right against into position whilst you're lining up the lip on the frame.I used a bit of lubricant to get it to slide nicely.I found that the 3/4 window to go with it the hardest one to fit,I thought the glass was going to break !
