Have a LHD Westie and have absolutely no problems driving on the opposite side to my daily.

Find it pretty easy to jump between a RHD manual Bora, LHD Westie and an Auto Disco HSE!

Insurance is only £150 a year through RH and I am 35 with 3points and 1 claim in the last 5 years!

If you are concerned go for an Aussie import - best of both worlds!

Been driving a lhd 70year old army truck for 13 years with no side vision not a problem as long as u line yourself up at junctions I just tend to use reflection in windscreen and wide angle lense on O/S mirror.

Also in petrol station in lhd bus partner was getting honked at to get van moved as I was paying for fuel, bet the guy felt a prat when I got in drivers seat and drove off

Also mostly rust free bus tend to find all rubber perished or dried up.

End of day get what u want and do it how u want. Enjoy whatever u get
