Rebuilding a radio to digital spec

Hey folks,

Ages ago I read an small piece in a magazine about a rebuild service for your old/vintage radio. You send it off, pay your money and they return it with a spangly inbuilt DAB receiver and iPod connection, line outs etc

My problem is that I can't find the article or the company anywhere. Dose anyone know who I'm talking about? Have their details? Or have any experience of the service?

I got a funny feeling the chap that used to do that, and flog a lot of old radios, was on here and on the latebay and he used to do all that crazy high tecky stuff as well, maybe a search through the for sale section on here and on the latebay may turn him up

Not cheap are they! But I guess it is a bit of a Faff getting the boards to fit and modifying the controls so fair play.
