I have alist of things I want done on my 69 devon delux bus this winter.
Futbus front disc brakes need to be fitted.
Headlights / Full Beams / Indicators sorted (Replacement indicator stork supplied - wiring currently not right - full beam stuck on - side lights don't work nor hazzards)
Both rear arches inside the boot rusty, need to be welded / replaced I think.
Front arches have some surface rust on seam inside cab. I think these only need sanding / treatment and spraying (Im no expert though)
I have a couple of bubbles of rust on the body and a couple of cracks in the paint, however Im aware I have ruby red metallic paint (I have paint match written somewhere at home)and therefore if that's not possible without a full respray I will wait until it's far worse and go for a complete body refurb and respray at a later date, as it still looks very good from a distance
Heater does not work.
Get the underside checked and rust protected if possible.
Would be nice if my bus had longer gearing (diff?)
I live in Harlow in Essex. Could you give me your recommendations for a reasonably priced honest specialist / enthusiast that would be up for taking on my bus for a while this winter within a couple of hours drive max?
